Brighton Day Attractions

Brighton Music Hall

2. Brighton Beach. Brighton beach is situated directly along the main drag through town and offers sweeping views of the ocean as well as a break from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Locals like to spend their days at the beach during the warmer weather, while tourists enjoy its relaxing qualities. It's also possible to rent little hut cabins for privacy which is incredibly unique (especially when you see them up close). They're a great place to have a picnic or catch some rays, and you can also find boardwalks that lead deeper into the water if you want to be more active.

The beach is open year round but check with your accommodation provider on whether it's warm enough for swimming when you visit, Brighton Town Press (brightontownpress.co.uk). 2. The Sinclair.  The Sinclair is probably my favorite music venue in Boston, as well as one of my favorite bars in the city. During the day it operates as a bar/pub. They offer gourmet burgers and sandwiches, and their food menu changes seasonally. They also offer a lot of entertainment during the day such as trivia nights for groups to play, live music, burlesque shows (something that Brighton Music Hall offers too), movie viewings on big screens during football season, comedy shows, and karaoke.

Grosvenor Casino Brighton

The Grosvenor Casino has something for everyone. Theres the fresh and exciting casino floor, where you can go all-in on roulette or play some of your favorite card games, like blackjack or poker. If youre looking to get away from the tables for a while, there are always fun entertainment options happening right in the casino. There are also many restaurant options that help make a trip to the casino an entire night out on the town.

Grosvenor Casino Brighton has been at the heart of the seaside resort for years. Lucky enough to be situated on the seafront, you have great views of the beach even from the 21st floor. Grosvenor Casino Brighton is a unique venue and appeals to a wide range of people. You can enjoy everything from flutter sessions to food, drink, and late night games. At night they switch over to a live music venue that offers mostly alternative rock bands.

Komedia Brighton

When it comes to comedy, Brighton is no slouch. The city is definitely punching above its weight, and if you're down for a laugh then you'll be well catered for here. Comedy has been a central part of Brighton's identity for a generation, since the Komedia club (now boasting 3 separate locations including this one) opened in 1990 on a boat. Back then full capacity meant about 60 people; nowadays they regularly host audiences which dwarf that figure.

Komedia Brighton is a comedy club and variety club located in the heart of Brighton, in the former Aqua Nightclub venue. Komedia hosts various events for all tastes: from "Comic Boom" for comedy fans and comedy lovers to theatre performances, spoken-word events, cabaret shows or musical acts. The first Komedia opened in London's Soho district, where its first shows included The Blues Brothers and Little Britain. Komedia is the coolest comedy venue ever. It hosts an amazing range of great acts, from big names to off-the-wall, weird stuff (like cabaret and musicals).

The Green Door Store

The Green Door Store opened in 2012 and is Brighton’s first small venue to feature an active joiner’s shop. Like all live-music venues in the UK, it has suffered from a decline in attendance. Organizer Andy Fyfe said ticket sales were down 23 percent last year compared to 2016, while a spokesman for the UK live music industry body Live Nation said occupancy of the 900-capacity Water Rats near London Bridge was around 50 percent last year.

Bustling Brighton

Though there are many vibrant, exciting cities in the UK, Brighton has to be the most creative. Once you’re finished with the Brighton Pier and Brighton Palace Pier, you can spend some time taking in one of the city’s numerous performance art pieces such as a classic Beatles tribute band performing underwater. The city is a hot spot for music, including budding young artists and more seasoned rockstars. Whether you want to sip drinks and relax on the beach or get your groove on at a local nightclub like Sankeys, Brighton is sure to impress over the weekend (and any other time).

Driving to Brighton Aiport from London takes around 45 minutes on a normal day. However, when you add in the weekend traffic around London, this can easily double. The most direct route is via M23/A23, but there is also the M25. This is where things get tricky, as theres a lot of things to factor in when considering this route. For example, if theres bad traffic on A3 or A23, you might be better off taking M25 and then heading south once youve passed Gatwick Airport.

There are so many sights to take in during a night out in Brighton that you’ll struggle for time. When the clock strikes midnight and the champagne starts flowing, youre sure to find yourself making spontaneous decisions but is that all they are? No, I tell you! Youre developing an opinion on Brighton which, unbeknownst to you, has shaped your night out. If you're looking to have fun by the sea, Brighton is a great place to visit.

From a day of beach bumming to partying in the clubs, this town has it all. If you’re planning on partying on your Brighton vacation, read this blog post to get started. (The Telegraph). It's a packed programme, with show after show booked out months in advance. The staff are easygoing, and there's a proper bar serving good drinks at good prices too. One of my favorite things about this place is that there's no dress code.
